H.C.R. 2018 Preliminary Report

The 45th International Home Care & Rehabilitation Exhibition was held for 3 days from October 10 (Wed.) through October 12(Fri.) at Tokyo Big Sight and welcomed 119,452 visitors total.

We would like to express our gratitude to all visitors, exhibitors, organizations, and people in the field of welfare, nursing care and healthcare who supported to H.C.R. 2018.

Day 1  October 10 (Wednesday)

The 45th International Home Care and Rehabilitation Exhibition (H.C.R.2018) opened !

H.C.R.2018 started today. The opening ceremony was held from 9: 50am in front of East Hall 2 and H.C.R. 2018 started gorgeously after the opening declaration by Mr. Juro Saito, the president of the National Council for Social Welfare.

546 Exhibitors from 14 countries and 1 region (84 overseas/462 Japanese) gathered this year.

12 Japanese exhibitors were cerebrated for their 15th exhibition this year at Appreciation Award Ceremony conducted from 11:00am at Galleria 1F, in front of East Hall 2. Mr. Yasuyuki Takai, President of the Health and Welfare Public Relations Committee, presented appreciation letters and memorials to each exhibitor.

H.C.R.2018 was continuously a great success of crowds of people

H.C.R.2018 welcomed lots of visitors from the morning on the 2nd day too.

At International Symposium - Japanese and overseas experts examined "Japan's Work and Balance of Child Care and Nursing Care"

Today an international symposium which was a highlight of H.C.R. 2018 was held under the theme of “Support for balancing working and childcare/nursing care - the current condition and countermeasure – “, and shared the current situation and future of Sweden and Japan with attendees. They kept listening earnestly while taking notes with eager attention.

From the questionnaire of the participants, attendees became aware that they faced the balance of work and childcare / nursing care, and they felt it was a meaningful time.

H.C.R.2018 concluded successfully

H.C.R. 2018 closed successfully at 4:00pm on October 12, while many visitors joined the exhibition despite of fortunate weather.

Until just before the closing the exhibition was lively and filled by active discussions among exhibitors and visitors.
